HER STORY

Quieesha Fanesse Burns, designer of BODII BII CORII began her career studying fashion design and business management at Cazenovia College in Cazenovia, New York. Upon graduating from Henninger High in Syracuse, New York, she has grown beyond limitations and set a new standard for generations to follow. When Quieesha Burns is designing, she is inspired by sculpture, architecture, color, history and current events.

 

Every design focuses on how she can flatter the human body and thoughtfully design clothing that every body type can wear. Quieesha Burns’ technical knowledge of a garment combined with her instinctive creative abilities results in an unproblematic and wearable line of garments that reflect art in the form clothing. Quieesha Burns believes in the importance of community involvement, inspiring others and giving back. When she is not designing, she is putting on Fashion Show Fundraisers for the community.

 

 

She recently put on a fashion show in Albany New York entitled ‘Smile Again’. Smile Again is a program that was designed to bring back the original smile of the survivors of different massacres and genocides in Africa. Quieesha Burns is also very involved in the Syracuse Community: she has put on an appealing fashion show fundraiser for the local library for black history month entitled ‘Hope is Gardening’. Miss Burns is known for designing beautiful dresses for ‘Dress A Girl Around the World’. This organization believes that every girl deserves the dignity of owning at least one dress. As a double major at Cazenovia College, she continues to provide guidance in helping other young, aspiring fashion designers realize their dreams.
